Absolutely incredible and unique stay in absolutely beautiful and stunning place. Immaculate and had everything you need. Really well thought out. Honestly a very special place to stay and we would love to come back!
The Railway Carriage
Fantastic, relaxing weekend at the Hut. The hot tub was piping hot on our arrival and we enjoyed it even in the rain. The views from the panoramic windows were spectacular and the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in. Very high standard of fixtures and fittings and very comfortable. We had a wonderful time.
The Hut
A perfect break away from reality! As soon as we arrived we switched off. The hut is so cosy and all finished to a high spec. The hot tub was bliss. Nothing beats waking up, having a cup of tea in bed and looking at the gorgeous views. Thank-you for a perfect break.

We stayed here to switch off from City Life and what a treat it was. Even at this time of year in the rain! It was beyond relaxing and we were leaving here recharged. We will be back x

Castaway was the perfect getaway. Really cozy and peaceful Beautiful views and lovely walks nearby and the cabin is perfect for relaxing in front of the fire The hosts were amazing and they had kitted us out with lovely eggs, bread, butter and milk Cannot recommend this place enough, looking forward to returning soon

Castaways is PERFECTION! The location is stunning. The accommodation is best described as understated luxury. The owners clearly know how to provide extremely well for their guests. A fantastic place to relax and switch off Accommodation is to a very high standard with everything you need. Comfortable bed, lovely chairs to sit and relax on and great views from every angle. Loved cooking on the outside fire on a couple of evenings but also only 10 minute walk to pubs if want to be looked after We didn’t want to leave

The walks in the local area were beautiful, but you’ll need strong willpower to drag yourself away from the picture perfect view from the Castaway Such a wonderful weekend that my sister and her husband have booked a week later this year based on our recommendation

Magical hideaway in my favourite place in Wales. It’s the nicest place I’ve stayed in the Ewyas Valley and I can’t wait to come back. The cabin is so cosy and comfortable and well equipped. The views are superb and the location is easy to get to with pubs in walking distance

Honestly, the most perfect little hideaway imaginable 🙂 Immaculately designed and with everything you’ll need. Stunning walks from the door, once you can haul yourself away from sitting in front of that amazing view. And the most lovely hosts. An absolute gem, all round.

Just got back from an amazing stay in the Castaway. Being off grid for a few days made us felt relaxed and recharged. Cosy nights in by the log burner while listening to the pouring rain is the best. Now back in the city but still dreaming about this lovely place in the Welsh countryside. I can’t wait to be back and will definitely book a much longer stay.

Exceeded our expectations completely. This perfect bolthole has everything you need for time away from the norm. We spent a couple of nights here and were transfixed by the beautiful location and serene environment. The carriage is definitely well cared for and maintained to a high standard. We wanted for nothing. Delicious welcome pack (ever so thoughtful) and gorgeous products to use in the shower room.

Explore a secret Welsh valley. Long, lovely and flanked by whalebacked hills, it feels thrillingly remote. Book Castaway and once darkness falls you’ll very nearly have it all to yourself – Llanthony Valley is a Dark Sky reserve.

A devine short break away from everything. Perfect ‘Baby Moon’ before becoming a family of four in the New Year! Very relaxed, hard to do as parents of a three year old. Very safe. Very warm. Very lovely.
